Banterbury Europa League Update – Group Stage 4th Matches

Like the Champions League we are now 4 games in to the Europa League, it’s time for an update whilst I’m hanging out my arse.

Group A sees onesize fitzall top with Finreubwilltigpip whatever that means. They just need a draw to qualify but Ole Cant Drive won his first game with a desperate wildcard will this kickstart his Europa League campaign?!

Group B sees Borussia Teeth and FPL_Blade topping their group with 3 wins out of 4 each. FC Boogax is waiting in the wings for a slip up from either of them. Busby Babes bow out as they mathematically cannot qualify from the group stages.

Group C has tightened up with the bottom two teams winning meaning it’s still all to play for as any of the teams can mathematically qualify although it’s looking unlikely for Dom’s Diamonds.

Circus Monkeys despite scoring nearly over 40 points more across the 4 gameweeks sits second in the group after losing to the Cleveland Allstars. Gumby’s Men go top of Group F with a win against ChorleyRocks who will find it difficult (but not impossible) to qualify from the group stages!

It’s still wide open regarding the qualifying spots with any of Zinchenko’s Kisses, Royal Army and POSH COCKNEY all with a great chance of qualifying… 2 spots, 3 teams!

Group C sees Kante Neck a Pint still top of the group but after losing the gap has closed, are they choking their 6 point lead? Fly needs a miracle and a rocket up the arse with a 13 point score last week. Shocking.

Gylfi Pleasures takes the lead on 3 wins despite a quite terrible score of 25 worsened only by his opponent Celtinha’s 20.

Congratulations to Mo Son Jesus is King on being the first to qualify with 4 wins out of 4, and T2 and T3 yet to play eachother. They sit top of National League A after joining the leagues this year. One to look out for this guy! Crystal Palestine’s problems deepen as they are the first team who cannot qualify for the knockouts. Where has it all gone wrong since winning the FA Cup. The manager is said to be inconsolable, players are revolting, even a desperate wildcard couldn’t help the guy. Sorry Lewis if you’re reading this.

A dogfight between Abra Dubravka and WhiteBoysDay is happening with them tied in H2H results it will go down to counting back the goals scored in the group stages which I’m too hungover to do right now.
